Internet Cables Under The Sea Cut,, Egypt's Internet is down to 1/3

Today I was doing my routine browsing when I noticed it's too slow,, I have a mere 512:128 Kbps internet connection (download:upload), which means I can download at 50-60 kbps,, I tried to download various files from several places, but the maximum speed I reached was 5 kbps or less
I contact my ISP (TEData), they told me that there's a general problem and it would be solved by 6:00 PM, I didn't like the answer I got, but I know that these problems are usual, so I waited,,
at 9:30 PM the same problem was still around,, so I contacted them again to hear an automated message saying that 2 Major Cables Under The Sea were cut because of a ship that was banned from entering Alexandria's Port, and that however, there's still 1 more cable working so far, so the service is not completely down, if this applies to all the users, that means that Egypt's connection to the internet has gone down into 1/3.
Personally,, my connection is 10 Times slower now
hope they fix it soon
if anybody has more info, plz contact me or type in the comments
